This is a harrowing tale of a woman's bravery and endurance through sexual assault. Well worth the read. There is never an excuse for sexual assault or the perpetuation of rape culture. This brave lady tells a wonderful story.

    Jeremy,

    I will agree in part.

But, I must disagree that women who protect themselves in ANY way perpetuate the rape culture.

    IMHO.

And for understanding and supporting the strange mixture of sexual politics and misogyny, ingrained helplessness, fear, and finally plain common sense and self preservation in so many stories (mine included) of rape.

C'mon I KNOW you have an opinion!
